How a launch works with us
Talk it through
Send what you have: a drawing, a 3D file, a prototype or a description. We will talk through volumes, materials, cost targets and timeline before anything is quoted.
Design for molding
We review the part for wall thickness, draft, gate location, ribs and bosses, and the features that drive tooling cost. Small changes here are cheap. The same changes after the mold is cut are not.
Tooling
We coordinate the mold build to fit our presses and the volume you actually need, whether that is a single-cavity tool to get to market or a production tool built for the long run.
Process development and sampling
We develop the process scientifically, run first-article samples and measure them against your print.
Production
Once you approve the samples, the documented process goes into production and eDART® monitoring watches every shot.
We have launched our own products. Our team has taken the InterVac family of vacuum products through molding, UL listing and to market, so we understand the business side of a launch as well as the molding side.
