Scientific molding

We develop processes from the plastic's point of view. Cavity-pressure sensors and eDART® monitoring tell us what is happening inside the mold on every shot, so we can set a process window, hold it, and prove we held it. When a part drifts, it is caught at the press. Read how it works.

Materials

PC/ABS is our highest-volume material, at roughly 225,000 lb a year. We also run other engineering and commodity thermoplastics. Tell us the material on your print, or the performance you need if you have not chosen one, and we will tell you whether it fits our equipment and experience.

Sizing your mold to our presses

If you already have tooling, send us:

  • Mold dimensions (height, width, stack height) and weight
  • Locating ring and sprue bushing details
  • Shot weight and material
  • Hot runner or cold runner, and any temperature control or core-pull requirements
  • Your current process sheet, if you have one

We will tell you honestly if it will not run. If your mold is not a fit for our presses, we would rather say so before quoting than find out on the first trial.

Send us a print

A drawing or STEP file is ideal. A photo and a description is enough to start. You talk to the person who will run the process.
